Merry Christmas 2006

We spent our Christmas in Hattiesburg with the rest of the Grovers. We surely enjoyed our vacation there. We got there on a Thursday and attended the " Butterfinger Party" the following day. Sterling and Liz on Christmas morning. It means opening of gifts. I remember , when we were still dating Sterling gave me 12 gifts. It was a lot of fun opeing those meticulously wrapped gifts. You can tell a man did it. he..he..Well in return I gave him 3 gifts , which are all special because I really saved some bucks for it. Liz with Jordan, Olivia and Hali. This was taken during Christmas breakfast at David's house. Dad and Mom sitting comfortably on Christmas morning. We got lots of presents from them. We are so grateful for having them part of our lives. We also enjoyed playing Jenga and Domino with them.
Sterling surprised me with lots of stuff which I really love. Well, everything that he gives me are all special. All I can say Sterling is very sneaky . I dontknow where he'd put all his gifts for me without me seeing it. Anyway I wasnt really expecting anything from him, since we are trying to really save up a lot of money for a house.
But I guess , I am really spoiled by him. He really took time to buy all his gifts for me. I really feel special and loved. STerling thought I dont have anything for him . He keep on telling me that he doesnt really need anything. But He deserved something really nice. He told me Im pretty sneaky too. During Thanksgiving I went with my in-laws to shop for presents . I bought gifts for my husband when we were in Arkansas. He doesnt even know its for him coz' usually when aI shop its for me ..he..he..Oh well he loved it . He said teh greatest gift he'd ever receive...well technically not yet ...is our baby. HE cant wait to see him/her.
During the girls night out ..but of course with dad and Sterling .WE played "Ooga Booga". Tehy all loved it and teh funny thing is tehy keep on doing it and enjoyed getting wet on their booty. "Butterfinger Party" this have been part of a tradition since 1996. I love it and been a member for 2 years now. Roasting marshmallows...hhmmnn yummy!!! During opening of their gifts from Grandma Grover. They all loved it and very excited to use their jewelries and other beauty stuff. The following day , which is a Saturday , we made a gift for their mothers. ( Allison, Jordan, Jeana, Sarah , Olivia and Hali) Igot one of what they made too as a present for being a mom-to-be. How exciting huh!!
Butterfinger in the making...girls are anxious to make their own butterfinger... Hali and Liz ...it was HAli's first time to attend the party!! Sterling adminitering the "Ooga Booga" Olivia enjoying the act ...while Sterling was thinking of the next move..
Kids showing off the proof of being an " Ooga Booga" member. They were proud of it alright.

Winter Wonderland here we come....

Last night , as promised by my loving husband, we went to downtown Nashville to see some lights. We went to Opry Mills and found out that the ICE Museum is open already. We parked our car and headed there and had a total blast. Its worth it, it's worth it paying that much!!! It wasnt really part of our plan but we're glad we went and enjoy the activity. We also went to the " Gaylord Opryland" Its a hotel ,huge hotel with lots of stuff to do. We didnt know it was that big till last night. Sterling was so amazed and astonished and so was I.
You can actually spend a whole day just walking and admiring the things you can see there. Such as big Christmas tree and river with real boats for tours. As we toured around the area we came across with different cute stuff ...like this cloth-made camel. We also get to watched a "Water Fountain Show". It was fantastic!!!
There were also falls and ponds all around . We really enjoyed taking pictures because the place is truly a wonderland for us. We're glad we went there during night time because the lights made it more appealing and projected the Yuletide season the best.
For clarification, the "Ice Show" is located not far from the Gaylord Opryland so we just walked there and we found it very beneficial for us , especially for me since I really need to have some walking. And I think the baby likes it...he..he..We went to the gift shop as we exit the show and Sterling got me some hot choco coz Im freezing cold...hhmnn yummy ..its my favorite.
What we admired the most is this....the "Nativity Ice" sculpture. Its really beautiful. We stared at it for like 10 minutes and took a lot of pictures to send out to both of our family. Though its freeezin cold, we stayed there for quite a while. I think its like 10-12 degrees there. By the way all you see here are all ice even the colored ones. It was really neat !!!.
These sculpture were all brilliantly done. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The thing is when I got inside the house..its not as much as cold anymore.
We also enjoyed the slides that they have there and got to see Sterling play like a kid again. He's really cute when he gets so excited about things. He kept on saying that he is so excited to see and play with our baby. Oh one more thing , even the chair we sat on is made of ice. Cool huh??
