Mission Call !!!

I feel the need to share with you the joy that Im feeling right now about my brother JC. He got his call this month and he will be serving in the Colorado Denver North Mission. Im really excited for him that he will finally get to experience the life as a missionary. I know he will learn a lot and will do good in Spanish. Si!! ha..ha..ha.. now I have to learn spanish too! Oh my ...it feels so weird to have both of my sister and my brother on a mission. My sister is in Hawaii she is doing really good. Two of Sterling's nephews are in Kiribati Island ( marshall ) and South Korea. You can definitely feel the spirit when youre surrounded by missionaries. We feel truly blessed for having them in our lives. Having said that , I wonder where would Hunter be assigned when its his time to go? hhmmnnn I have this feeling it would be in the Philippines. That would be nice so he can learn my language and then we can keep secrets from Sterling. lol....he..he.he..Anyway I just want to say how proud I am of my siblings , for their decision to go and serve a mission. And Im thankful that Sterling get to experience serving as well and set a great example for Hunter to follow. It is indeed a wonderful thing to serve the Lord!

BOO!!!

Happy Halloween !!!It was a busy week for all of us. We attended lots of parties during the week that its only now that I am to post them here. Im not even done with posting pictures of our recent vacation. But dont worry folks..im slowly getting there. Anyway Hunter dressed up really cute! I took lots of photo of his outfits ..yes youre right! You heard me....outfits! He got to wear all the three of them. And "NO" I didnt buy them all. Thanks to the generosity of my Aunt Maria and Cousin Maryanne who sent those cute costumes. Anyway here is Hunter dressed up as " Chicken Little"! We were invited by the River's to their annaul Halloween party. And they really decorate good their yard and prepared lost fo games for the kids. We had pumpkin carving, bonfire , marshmallow roasting ( smores...hhmnn yummy!!!) and the ultimate "Hay Ride" . Last year we didnt get to take Hunter with us during the ride but now he's all over it.

Wednesday is our library day! We always go there for reading time. Hunter was able to wear his Spider Man outfit. He loved it!

Vacation 2008

Our family had an opportunity to go and vist places in the southwest region. We feel truly blessed to see God's wonderful creation and we will never forget the experiences and lessons gained throughout the trip. To sum up everything , we flew to Las Vegas and then the following day went to Hoover Dam/ Lake Mead, then to Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, drove to Zion National Park,visited Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park on the way, then hit Bryce National Park the last. It was awesome!!!!. We planned it really well and we must say the turn out was rather successful. After Bryce we stayed for the night in St. George and then drove back to Vegas to see the strip, which is not what I expected. I would not recommend going to Vegas at all. But yeah, overall, we enjoyed our grand family vacation. And I got a special treat....Jollibee , Chowking and Red Ribbon all in the same building. I cant ask for more!!!STerling also got great gifts from his job such as full body massage at Golden Nugget (120) which by the way according to Sterling , I massage him better than them, Sansa Fuze MP3 player and brand new camera and pocket money for food ( which we will give to Dianne who is serving a mission in Hawaii) Jollibee/Chowking/ Red Ribbon Las Vegas Strip/ Golden Nugget Aha !! Got yah!! At the Venetian Hotel This is the hotel where we stayed for our first night in Las Vegas Too bad we didnt get to go swim here..its really a nice pool. It has a slide that will go through the whole aquarium. Really prettY!Its in the Golden Nugget hotel which is along the famous Fremont Street where you can see the biggest LCD show.

BRYCE NATIONAL PARK Oh my....Im still uploading pics our vacation which happened like a month ago or so.... anyway better late than neverI guess. Anyway, Bryce is awesome!!! I think we enjoyrd it better than the restof the other places we visited.. Its a different kind of beauty. We get to hike some though it was frigid cold. We were not prepared for it as you you can see in some of the pictures ...like Sterling, who in desperation, wore Hunter's hat and shirt for a little bit of covering for his head, after he gave his coat to his wife.
