Baby Shower Parties

We had so much fun the past 2 weekends arranging our baby's room. Actually we still are decorating it up until now. My husband went on a hiking this morning so Im left here in our house , nothing to do except to be lazy so I decided to tell you about the activities we had for 2 consecutive weekends. Last May 5th we attended the Oakfield day in JAckson . I met a lot of new friends. I also get to talk briefly to Mitzi. Mitzi and I were not really close but she sat close to me and asked me if Im havingmy baby shower. I told her I dont know if somebody is actually planningit for me and then she said dont worry I will plan one for you . I wasnt really expecting it! But she had a good memory and never forgot that so I got call from her within the week and she said that everything was taken care of already. Our baby got a really nice "CRIB" from them and a mattress that goes with it. Its a 4in 1 convertible crib . We also got some clothes and gift cards. Thank you so much! May 13th ( Mother's Day) We also got a baby shower sponsored by my Pinay dear friends in Hattiesburg. WE had so much fun there and I thought at first they're not gonna have it. They were pretty sneaky at first and tried to hide it from me but thanks to Cherry. She blew it all up when she called me . he..he.. I was still surprised though. Our baby got a baby carrier, diapers, photo albums, first aid kit , blanket, toys, Inafantino baby carrier,money to start off his mission funds. Our baby got a lot of nice and practical stuff. May 18th ( Family and Church Friends ) Now this one was not a surprised at all. I stayed with my in-laws house for a week while Sterling went back to Tennessee. He went back a day before the baby shower, which Im gald he did because I have to have a root canal early Friday morning. It was terrible pain but Dr. Lucas is so good that it didnt take him long to fix it . And guess what I didnt feel any pain at all. My baby shower started at 7pm and lots of people came to congratulate me and to see how big Ive gotten. he..he.. Again we got lots of stuff for our baby boy...I mean lots' of stuff. We've got signatured clothing for sleeping, playtime and on the go activities. Lots of onesies and overalls. We got diapers and wipes, bottles, pacifiers, Infantino,isher-price and Lamaze toys, lots of Blankets both personalized and siganatured ones, burp cloths and bibs, hangers, babay gift set which include bathing products, towels ,Diaper Bag ( Kalencom) , clothes and much more, booties and socks, and lots of gift cards. Thank you so much for everything and for being a part our new journey We'll send birth announcements and pictures of our baby. *** Aside from the baby shower we also got some things for our baby . We already got him a bouncer, a bassinnet, Fisher-Price CD player/Radio and Classical CDs and Church Childrens' music, bedding set, stuff toys, we got 1 hiking carirer and 3 more of sling and infantino carrier, head rest . Some of these were given by friends. We also got a Jumperoo from Fisher Price, Play mat, Graco Playpen and exersaucer. Oh well...he's going to be a spoiled rotten baby. he..he...he.. kidding..he's just loved by many . Oh i just made a wall decor for his room . I bought wooden letters form Hobby Lobby and made him something special. I'll post pictures of it soon.

Im so excited to be a mom !!

It has been a busy 2 weekends for me and my husband. We went to Hattiesburg last May 12th for the Monther's Day celebration. Mom was very surprised to see us infront of their doorsteps holding flowers and saying out loud " Happy Mother's Day". Sterling thought all of that . He's such a sweet guy. He is so good to his mom and that means and proves that he is good to me as well. We also called my mom in California to greet her too. We think they she got the card late. Anyway Sterling gave chocolates ( Ferrero Rocher) my favorite and a set of Amythyst Bracelet and Earrings which I got from Premier Design. It wasnt much compare to last year but the thought of it , is what really matters. I love yah dear!!!

Just An Update!

Its been a while since Ive put something here so I decided its time for few updates about our growing family. Our house is looking good. Little by little we get to see the beauty of having your own home. We finished organizing already ..whew...thank goodness! SO far so good! Our baby's room is looking good as well. We painted it blue. We loved it and we also finished putting all the crown moulding and blinds. Oh well i may just have to take a picture of it so you will see it! Last Friday we stayed at ATe Emma's house in Jackson,TN. It was fun and yesterday we attended the Oakfield day! IT was fun but not as fun as last year. Well maybe just for me becuase I cant do much now. I cant go wall climbing and run or joined the other games taht they have there. We also get to buy some stuff for our baby. Now I can add more decorations for his room and later on he can play with it. We are so excited for his coming. I can also tell that he is anxious to get out and see his parents. He kicks a lot and keeps me all night as if wanting some attention. he..he.. well he doesnt have to worry about it coz for sure , he will be the center of our attention. We already subscribe for the Friend issue for our baby , to give him a head start in reading. ( Too advanced huh) We also get to get something for the house. WE got some side and center tables . It was really nice and we got it for a good price. Sterling is really working hard in our backyard. He keep on telling me that he's going to fix it up really good for our baby. We have a nice landscape so we are excited to put patio set and swing . Oh I also got my new hairdo. Sterling loves it. I think its time for a change . No more long hair for me. Its very old fashioned and besides summer is approaching so I better be ready for it. Oh well thats all for now. I'll post pictures later. WE hope all is well with y'all!!
