Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This time of the year is one of my favorite . The weather is nice , we get to see our family and it also gives me time to stop and relax and think of all the wonderful blessings that I've received.I wanted to focus more on the true spirit of Thanksgiving! It also gives me opportunity to reflect on the things going on with my life and my family. And hey... its the biggest sale of the year ..that means SHOPPING, but thats at the very least of my priority. he..he..he.. We went shopping the day before Thanksgiving but we didnt go very early . Thats a suicide if you do that..we've tried it before and all of my in-laws including me learned a very valuable lesson.... and that sleep is very important.. he..he.he..far more important than shopping. We got the things we needed and some presents for HUnter and our relatives and of course for both of us.
Many things had happened for the past few months and we feel to have been blessed with so many things both spiritual and temporal. And since its the the time to give thanks I am taking this wonderful occassion to do so. I wanted to list it all here but I just dont have the luxury of time ..so here are just a few. IM THANKFUL FOR MY FAMILY, MY HUSBAND, MY SON HUNTER, FOR A NICE AND COZY HOME ,GOOD HEALTH, FOR OUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE CHURCH, FOR OUR CALLING/S , DEAR FRIENDS AND A LOT MORE .
Hunter and Grandpa Grover bonding time were so awesome. Grandpa played harmonica to Hunter . Evidently, he liked it alot that he starts crying whenever Grandpa stops. Grandpa Grover gave Hunter a Harmonica and asked me to teach Hunter so that they can play music together. I told him im gonna teach Hunter Piano and Guitar becuase thats all I play! And also Sign Language that's my cup of tea.

These were the scenes taken after Thanksgiving , and we call it the " Grover Girl's Party" We always have it everyyear, of course Ive only been a member for about 4 years now. Its been going on for about 13 years already so its pretty much part of the Grover tradition. When Hunter grows a little bit...he can actually go with his Daddy and be with all of his boy cousins. They also have their own tradition. Isn't neat? But for now Hunter will be the first guy to ever attend a girl party. Im sure he didi like all the attention he'd gotten.

These pictures were taken by AUnt Melanie. Jessica, Natalie and HUnter showing off their Thanksgiving gift form Grandma Grover! Hunter got a plush Froggy and we named him "Denver" , A book called "Eight Silly Monkeys" , piggy bank. Thanks Grandma ...we love you!!

This is what we did for the girl's party, we made sure that w eteach the young girls of our family how to value what they have and that it doesnt mean that if you have more you are better than the others. We also taught them the importance of Missionary work. We also prepared some googdies for the Missionaries and sang for them. We gave them some arrowheads placed in a frame, which were made by the parents.

That night all the parents too, got some gifts like candles with holdres, a very good book which I already finished. It was by Max Lucado..I highly recommend it to all those booklovers and some take home Butterfingers that we always make as part of our thanksgiving fun activities.

That night ..we also watch some very nice Christmas movies like Season's for Miracles and more. The girls stayed up late but for me I went to bed at about 11:00 pm.

Oh what a night!! Here, the three of us were just playing silly and a little bit crazy. These photos were taken on the night before thanksgiving. We were so tired from a long travel . We drove 7 hours from Tennessee to Hattiesburg, but despite of it all we still managed to smile. Sterling drive all the way but when we headed back home he asked me to drive even for just an hour so that he can rest. So I did...I dont really mind driving.. Im such a good wife Sterling!!! he..he..he.

These photos were taken at the very day of Thanksgiving . All of the Grover family were present including some of the additions too. Sterling and I picked up Great grandma Trussell. We're happy to see her again.

After the thanksgiving gathering that we had , that same day we celebrated also Garretts baptism. We cant believe how time pass by so fast. The first time I went here in the states he was only 4 years old and was so little and now he's grown up. Wheew,...tahts true with Hunter too!

At the very last day of our stay in Mississippi we went to the Grover Creek Farm. It was quite a ways from Hattiesburg but it was worth it. It actually became the highlight of our vacation . I also invited my very dear friend Rowena and her daughter Bella. She said she enjoyed it too. It was a lot of fun and bone stretching activity. ha..ha.ha..Some of the photos were taken inside the farm house . Mom and Dad ( Reo and Helen) made us lunch an it was all good too.

This picture was taken by Rowena...our camera was low in battery so we borrowed hers
