Gintong Pamana Awards Night / LAke Michigan/Kainan

RockYou slideshow | View | Add Favorite These pictures were taken on different occasions. The first was taken at the Drury Lane convention center. We attended the "Gintong Pamana" Awards Night. ( Golden Heritage) Lots of people were there and were all dressed up. We all dressed in formal. ( Nightgowns, Tuxedos) And each table had it own servers and the food were all good, from entree to desserts. The place was fabulous as well. It was well ornamented and I think even without the ornamentation ...its just perfect. The place was very cozy. My Aunt Marose and cousin Mary Anne and I wore all black dresses and they were all provided for us by our AUnt Judy who won the "Prism Award" that night. She is a nurse and had won several nominations long before . She has a staffing agency for all nurses and similar allied courses. She is indeed a very talented lady. The other pictures were taken in the surburb part of Chicago. Where its a little country and quiet. We ate there for lunch and took lots of picture of my dad and cousins. My dad is so excited to take lots of pictures of himself and the gang so that when he gets back to the Philippines he wil have lots of things to tell and describe. Part of the picture was taken the very last day we spent in Downtown. It was in Oak Street Beach as they named it but actually the waters are from Lake Michigan. It was another new experience for me as well coz its my first time to be in a place where I can see both big city with tall buildings and beautiful and cold lake in one place. It was very neat to see!!!
