The day that my husband and I had been waiting for finally arrived . Last Sunday one of his brothers , together with his family came to pay a visit. They came and stayed with us for one night. We didnt have much room for them so they ended up camping out on our couches and living room floors. And then the following morning , Mom and Dad came and we went straight to the Nashville Zoo. We were planning on bringing them to Virgin Falls but we didnt have much time so we ended up there. We spent the whole day walking, playing and taking pictures. That same day , for our dinner we decided to eat out . We went to Olive Garden and Mom and Dad paid for us all. It was kind of expensive but they insisted on paying so we just agreed. I guess they really miss us huh!!
( The Farm House at the Zoo. At the back of it you can find horse stables and Alpacas and herd of sheep)

We prepared dinner for them and went to Percy Priest to eat some watermelon. They seem to enjoy it..I think...lol!!! And after we pig out we decided to take a walk at the Golf course just at the back of our house. It was so much fun having the kids around the house.
The Jungle Gym . It was so cool and big , that even the adults can play and have some fun . We were thinking that it would be nice to have a playground like that in the farm back in Mississippi.I know for sure the kids would love the idea.

(All of us love Anaconda..cant you tell??? ha..ha.. I think this is a very cute picture of Jason's kids on top of the snake. We sure miss them !!)

Liz make a pose!! Sterling loves to take pictures of me and he loves it, if its a stolen shot.

Sterling really enjoy feeding birds. They grew up in a farm and so they are very accustomed in doing stuff like this. They milk cows and he started working at the age of 4.

Mom and Dad ( Helen and Reo) Sitting on a potty room. Its a replica of the bathroom they used during the 1800's . I can imagine how uncomfortable it was to used it. It has 3 chair holes ..that means 3 people can used it at the same . Eeewww....that surely stinks!!!

I really enjoyed feeding the birds too. Although it took me a while for them to get to land on my hand, it was still fun!! The nectar that we fed them costs like a dollar, so it wasnt that bad at all.

How I wished I wore my tennis shoes when we went here. It would have been more fun if I did. Sterling and I where inside the what they called " Jurassic Park Cage" . Well in this picture , Sterling was trying to get also the view of the falls behind me. It was cool. I admit I was kind of scared when we went up the cage because all you can see is water down below. But Sterling assured me its safe so I felt better.

This zoo is definitely well-kept and is designed carefully. The animals were in their natural setting. They are not put on a cage ..even the birds. Impossible?? NOpe they have sensors that determines whether how far the animals can go. The proximity is limited for them ..even for the fowls. Well if I were them too ( animals )I wouldnt go anywhere else ...they live in a very beautiful and serene place.

The Iguana is one of my favorite pet, with the exception of this big one behind us. This exhibit is titled " The Unseen World". It was really neat to go and see animals that you see rarely or never ..if you dont get lucky !!!Lol!!

This is the closest we can get around Meerkats. They are so cute but if you look closely , they have these tiny but absolutely sharp edge teeth. They are cute ,I know....but you cant definitely pet them.

This lovely carved seats ( 4 of them ) were so nice. It reminded me of the Philippines. And hey ...I wasnt doing the bad sign there. Double click the picture and you'll see clearly. ha..ha..

This is just around the Alligator's Cove. Cute picture with Thomas and Caden. We feel like King and Queen with our 2 soldiers.ha..ha...
