Festival of Nations

LAst weekend when we shop at the Filipino store in Nashville we have met few filipinos that are members of the PAAMT ( Pilipino -American Association of Middle Tennessee) They gave us some invitation about this event and after that , we exchanged phone numbers. The festival was held at Bethel Outreach Center in Brentwood.IT wasnt that far form us so we decided to go , also with the hope of meeting some more fellow filipinas to be friends with. I called several of my Pinay friends and extend the invitation to them as well . The admission is free and the foods are all delicious. Upon entering the building's premises ...we thought at first its a religious event but we were wrong. As a matter of fact we never heard anything about implications like that. The participants came from different parts of the world but mostly asians. There are few africans and europeans who were just invited by their friends. I invited Jasmine and part of her family to come there since they were on their way to the temple. She said she cant but she can drop by her kids ( Jayo and Yelena) and their Grandma in the outreach center. Everything worked out fine and we got to meet lots of filipinos and make friends with other people from different places. And we really enjoy the presentation and the food. Not just because its free but also they are really delicious and well prepared.
